Precautions for Single-Wall Cardboard Production Lines

Release date:

2021-12-19

Precautions for using a single-wall cardboard production line:

(1) Before starting up, carefully check all circuits, air lines, and air valves for leaks, and lubricate all moving parts.

(2) Install the roll paper correctly onto the shaftless holder according to the paper specifications specified in the production notification form;

(3) Introduce steam to start the main motor running; once the steam pressure reaches 8 kPa (and the roller temperature exceeds 160°C), begin feeding the paper.

(4) Release the glue valve, slowly and steadily turn the main motor speed control knob, and press the pressure button to produce single-faced corrugated cardboard, which is then conveyed onto the conveyor bridge.

(5) After production is complete, first return the coating roller to its original position, turn off the heat source and air valve, and set the main motor to low speed.

(6) Clean the coating rollers, removing paper debris and carbonized adhesive residue from each roller;

(7) Stop the machine when the roller temperature drops to a non-hot-to-the-touch level; for long-term shutdowns, apply rust-preventive oil to the surfaces of all rollers.

(8) Regularly check whether all valves and fittings are functioning properly, whether each instrument is responsive, and if its indications are accurate.

(9) Maintain equipment and site hygiene, and properly complete the equipment operation records.
